Based on a 1900 children’s novel it was made into a movie in 1939. It is a story about Dorothy Gale who was swept away in a bad storm and landed in the Land of Oz.
Now you can own a piece of that movie for just about $ 3 million dollars.
Namely, the shoes Dorothy wore in the movie are auctioned by California’s Profiles in History December 16, 2011.
Supposedly worn by Judy Garland (who played Dorothy) herself, these famous red glittery slippers would make a nice Christmas present,don't you think?
